El Paso County Judge Ricardo Samaniego and El Paso County Commisioners recognize Star Central Studios

El Paso County Judge Ricardo Samaniego recognized Star Central Studios in Commissioners Court today. Together with Commissioners Iliana Holguin, Carlos Leon, David Stout, and Carl Robinson, a resolution was signed and presented to President, Gilbert Jorgenson and directors, Joshua Ruiz, Ricardo Herrera, and Jennifer Cedillo, acknowledging their efforts to improve the film community and offer resources to retain the talent in El Paso and the borderland region.

Star Central Studios Learning Center is one of the only facilities in El Paso County and surrounding areas that features an operational movie set, giving local fimmakers access to the same equipment used on major motion picture productions all over the world.

Access to industry standard film equipment allows local students and professionals to remain in El Paso rather than leaving to another city.
